My Family

My family is the most important part of my life. Without them I would be lost.
We start with my Hubs, Joshua...It totally was the dimples that did me in.

My daughter actually came around BEFORE we were officially married. In fact, the story of our marriage is a pretty funny and sometimes embarrassing one.
Our Nana is a funny, imaginative, smart, beautiful little girl. She really is the light of my life.

I love to bake. I love to cook. I never liked doing it before having my own home. BUT after making a home and realizing that I needed to make meals for my little family I had to learn HOW to cook. I began with cook books. My first book was a vintage Better Homes and Gardens: New Cook Book, circa 1989.

I still have it and still refer to it quite often. To me, the older books have the most savory recipes. Now my collection of cookbooks has significantly grown. I have over 100 cookbooks and I use just about every single one of them. I like to take a recipe and add my own twist to it to make it my very own. I have one unbreakable rule in my house, NO ONE leaves my house hungry.

Our little family first made their home at Yokota Air Base in Japan. I LOVED it there and would go back in a heartbeat.
Now we live in England. On RAF Lakenheath, but we are stationed at RAF Mildenhall. Life for the Bakers is truly blessed and we cherish every second of the blessed life we have been given.
